    • Are your assisted living communities licensed?

Yes, all our facilities are licensed by the Ohio Department of Health.

 
 

    • What is Assisted Living?

Assisted Living is for seniors who need help with the activities of daily life, yet wish to remain as independent as possible. Assisted Living residents may need assistance with personal care, weekly personal laundry and three meals daily, including snacks. Personal care services include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication assistance, etc. Services can be increased or decreased over time, as needed.

 

    • What kinds of activities are available at your community?

Our communities boast a full calendar of events and activities monthly. Activities such as exercise programs, Wii bowling, card games, movies, and puzzles are routinely scheduled.

 

    • What is included in the monthly fee?

In addition to the use and enjoyment of your selected studio, or one-bedroom residence, your monthly fee includes a variety of services and amenities such as three meals and snacks daily, all utilities (except phone and TV in your personal residence), weekly housekeeping and laundry service, emergency call system, community activities and programming, interior/exterior and maintenance, 24-hour staffing, plus access to a host of on-site amenities such as community TVs, at least 1 phone for common use and a computer on a first-come, first-serve basis.

 

    • What types of senior living residences are available?

Our communities offer such a wide range of floor plan options. While residence floor plans and sizes vary by community, in general, you’ll find a number of spacious studio, or one-bedroom floor plan styles to choose from.

 

    • Will I be able to customize my home?

Yes. You may make non-structural changes to your residence such as painting, wall paper, and window coverings. Cost and coordination of such additions are the responsibility of the resident. There is a fee to return the residence to its original condition should you elect to change residences or leave the community.

 

    • Is parking available?

Yes. Please contact the community for specific information.

 
 

    • Are we allowed to have pets?

No. You are not allowed to have pets at any of our facilities.

 
 

    • Does your senior community offer guest rooms for out-of-town guests?

No, however, guests are welcome to stay with you in your residence for up to 48 hours. Also, your community’s manager can suggest a number of nearby hotels for your guests.

 

    • Is smoking allowed in your senior community?

Smoking is not allowed in resident units and inside the building. However, residents and their guests may smoke in our “smoke zones/ rooms” that are built adjacent to our buildings.
