Yes, all our facilities are licensed by the Ohio Department of Health.

Assisted Living is for seniors who need help with the activities of daily life, yet wish to remain as independent as possible. Assisted Living residents may need assistance with personal care, weekly personal laundry and three meals daily, including snacks. Personal care services include assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, medication assistance, etc. Services can be increased or decreased over time, as needed.

Our communities boast a full calendar of events and activities monthly. Activities such as exercise programs, Wii bowling, card games, movies, and puzzles are routinely scheduled.

In addition to the use and enjoyment of your selected studio, or one-bedroom residence, your monthly fee includes a variety of services and amenities such as three meals and snacks daily, all utilities (except phone and TV in your personal residence), weekly housekeeping and laundry service, emergency call system, community activities and programming, interior/exterior and maintenance, 24-hour staffing, plus access to a host of on-site amenities such as community TVs, at least 1 phone for common use and a computer on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Please note that are food service includes 3 regular meals. We do not prepare or serve special or complex/ therapeutic meals.

Our communities offer a wide range of floor plan options. While residence floor plans and sizes vary by community, in general, you’ll find a number of spacious studios, or one-bedroom floor plan styles to choose from.

Yes. You may make non-structural changes to your residence such as painting, wall paper, and window coverings. Cost and coordination of such additions are the responsibility of the resident. There is a fee to return the residence to its original condition should you elect to change residences or leave the community.

No. You are not allowed to have pets at any of our facilities.

No. However, your community’s manager can suggest a number of nearby hotels for your guests.

Smoking is NOT allowed in resident units and inside the building. However, residents and their guests may smoke in our “smoke zones/ rooms” that are built adjacent to our buildings.

Marijuana use (in any format) is NOT permitted anywhere on the premises of the facility.

Marijuana remains a Schedule I drug under the Controlled Substances Act. Under current laws, it is illegal for providers/ facilities that accept Medicare and Medicaid funding to manufacture, distribute, prescribe or dispense Schedule I drugs. Even with a medical marijuana card, you are prohibited to use marijuana in any format on the facility’s premises which includes the parking lot and yard/s.

Yes, if you meet coverage criteria, you would qualify to receive rehabilitative therapies such as occupational therapy, physical therapy and speech-language pathology services onsite. These services are provided under Home Health. Our residents may avail these services through our home health division, Alpine Home Health. For more information, click here.
